Hotspot 2: a smaller edition of Walking Street and a lot cheaper
Hotspot 3: many beer bars, cozy and large selection
Hotspot 4: many beer bars, very cheap, the absolute number 1 for many
Hotspot 5: many beer bars, cheap, a must for everyone
Hotspot 6: similar to Hotspot 3, also popular
Basically, the entire city is a party street. Transport from hotspot to hotspot
Numerous small tuk-tuks (pickups with a loading area) drive along the first street (street along the beach). Everyone can get there as they please. Just wave to the driver. Attention: Only wave up TukTuks while driving / show your thumb. Standing TukTuks usually wait for tour groups and offer an individual ride. Then the cheap 10 baht price does not apply.
These shared taxis drive from the north of the beach road (near Hot-Spot-6) all the way down to Walking Street (Hot-Spot-1) and then along the second road up to the north to Hotspot-6. So always in a "circle". To get out, press a small bell that you can find above yourself. Then the doorbell rings. The driver stops the vehicle. Get out and give the driver at the passenger window (left) 10 baht . A perfect transport. Always give a 10 baht coin if possible. 1000 baht notes can sometimes not be changed or only with eye rolls.

The hotel shouldn't be too far from the nightly entertainment. However, right at the hotspots and on the main streets it can be too loud to sleep. Before 03:00 a.m. it is rarely quiet in Pattaya. Every bar has loud music systems and traffic, especially loud motorcycles in the main streets are very loud. It is therefore always worth reading the reviews before booking a hotel. Budget hotels in particular often only have simple wooden windows without any insulation / no noise protection. Larger hotels have this problem less often. But these also have the problem with rooms facing the main street.

Areas in Pattaya
Green area: perfect location
Blue area: very good location
Yellow area: average location
outside: it is sometimes too far away from everything. A scooter taxi would then be necessary every evening to get to the hotspots and back to the hotel. Advantage: The probability that it is very quiet at night is higher. The hotel price also drops the further away the hotel is from the hotspots.

HOTSPOT 1: Walking Street
The world's most famous entertainment mile "Walking Street" is still number 1. But the prices are also the highest there. In particular, there are almost only go-go bars (countless numbers) and also occasionally large beer bars. The nightclubs are the cheapest way to get to know each other. Guests arrive very late. Guests can be found from 10 p.m. However, many women from the surrounding go-go bars only appear there after work, i.e. after 3:00 a.m. It is not uncommon for men hungry for love to wait until 3:00 a.m. in the large discotheques to escape the barfine (trigger fee in the go-go bars, at least 1000-3000 baht). In addition to the barfine of the go-go bar, the "waitress" also earns money, which can again cost between 1500 - 5000 baht. If you get to know a new "waitress" in a discotheque, there is of course no barfine to pay. The ladies call between 1000 and 2000 baht. Similar to the total cost of an "waitress" from a beer bar. But the women in the GoGo bars are said to have a special beauty. In order to go partying and have fun, the complete walking street is recommended. Here "man" can spend months without ever having seen anything. With the necessary change, "Mann" has an infinite selection in the go-go bars for possible acquaintances.

HOTSPOT 2: Soi LK Metro + Soi Buakhao
The LK-METRO (Hotspot2) is a small edition of Walking Street. The road bends like an "L". Everything is a lot cheaper here. In the past few years, most beer bars have been replaced by go-go bars. Around this area there are the most booked and best known hotels from budget to luxury. You are in the middle of the "green area" and can reach everything very quickly in any direction. The entire third beach street is full of bars and restaurants (Soi Buakhao). TukTuks also drive here. The majority, however, are on foot because every meter in this street is full of tempting bars.
Many prefer this region not only because of the street LK-METRO itself, but because there are many more streets around with adventures waiting for you. From there, "Mann" can walk to Hotspot-3 very quickly (10 minutes). On the way there are countless other streets that deserve to be called your own hotspot. For example "Tree Town" in between.
Also directly opposite the LK-Metro the "SOI LENGKE". Extremely popular, even during the day. Massage shops are lined up here that are well attended even during the day. Men who can drink their beer there with female accompaniment from noon onwards. Because Walking Street and all other hotspots only open from the evening. In Soi Lengke there is already something going on from midday. The Soi Lengke is on the map below the number 2.

HOTSPOT 3: Soi Made in Thailand
The street has about 60 beer bars in a very small space. There's always something going on here. The choice is great. The bars are lined up on the left and right without a gap. It can get a little loud here, but it is very cozy. Many spend their entire Pattaya vacation here precisely because of the combination of Soi Buakhao + LK Metro. The prices for beer and other drinks as well as the prices of the evening acquaintances are very low here. That is why it is a mandatory visit.

HOTSPOT 4: Soi 6
There are men who would like to live here forever. A continuous road from the beach road to the second beach road (Second Road / Pattayasaisong Rd). Between 5 and 30 "waitresses" can be found in each of these 50 bars. The selection of bars and acquaintances is huge here. Many have to walk up and down the street several times because they couldn't see everything at once. The bars are almost all open to the street. With seating and alcoholic beverages, you can chat and get to know each other or just enjoy the atmosphere.
There is also something going on at noon. The pure nightlife only takes place here in the evening.
The approximately 700 "waitresses" in Soi6 are very direct and hope for a direct route to the bedroom, which is located above every bar. There are several small rooms above each bar with only one bed in them. These beds were not set up for sleeping. A staircase in the back of a bar leads upstairs. Very simple and straightforward. Since Soi6 has been around, it has been the hotspot-1 in Pattaya for many because the selection is huge and the prices are the lowest, around 800 to 1500 baht.
Don't get confused on a first visit, the "Soi 6/1" is the wrong street. One street further on "Soi 6"

HOTSPOT 5: Soi 7 and Soi 8
There are two side streets (Soi) between Strandstrasse and Second Road. These are called SOi7 and Soi8. Here you can roam the night very well in a group. There are many open bars for drinking and playing billiards. There is of course seating in the bar and friendly "waitresses" are also present for entertainment. The quality of the acquaintances is often called average, but these two streets are unforgettable for drinking and partying. The atmosphere is impressive and the bars are scattered along the street. So you can always find a cozy place that suits you.
The very popular restaurant "Sailor Bar & Restaurant" is also located here. One can argue about the quality of the food, but cheap prices and sociable tourists with a good mood invite you to linger in the evening.

HOTSPOT 6: Drinking Street
This is an area with no traffic. Resembles a large parking lot with about 50 bars. A counter in the middle and padded stools all around. The atmosphere is great. Sometimes there is little going on here. You'd rather move on especially late at night. However, very good for the early evening. You are a bit far from the rest of the hotspots, which would also explain why it is very quiet in the bars on indefinite days. There are "waitresses" in these bars from 2-5. Drinking Street is more popular with Pattaya veterans. A detour is definitely worth it.
